999 & 911 EMERGENCY service abuse

Sex Emergency!
A frustrated husband called 999 — to say his wife was refusing to have sex with him. He complained to the operator that he was being denied his "matrimonial rights" and to ask for an ambulance crew to "examine" her.

But the operator refused and told the man, from Reading, Berks, that his 'emergency' was not one they could help with.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We get some inappropriate calls from people who think they need an ambulance and this comes pretty near the top of the list."

Porn Emergency!
Meanwhile, a frustrated 44 year old German housewife dialled the emergency number because her husband would not stop watching porn movies.

When officers arrived at the scene they found her pacing the apartment while her husband sat in front of the TV watching a hardcore movie.

She told the police: "Nothing will move him, not even if I offer him the real thing, and he has the TV on so loud I'm sure the neighbours can hear it."

She was told however that there was nothing the police could do in such a case, but refer her to a counsellor for help.
