Catholic Church against porn Indusry
Bishop Robert W. Finn of Kansas City - St. Joseph has issued a pastoral letter that calls pornography a "plague in our society, reaching epidemic proportions".
"Pornography is a symptom of the loss of the dignity of the human person," he said. "It is a mortal sin to look at pictures of other persons with the idea to give yourself sexual gratification. That is a serious misuse of our sexuality."
However - porn addicts should not lose hope. The diocese's Anti-Pornography Task Force has established a support group, modelled after 12-step programmes, to assist men in breaking an addiction to pornography.
There are plans to add a support group for women. According to studies cited in the pastoral, one- third of visitors to adult websites are women and "one out of every six women grapples with addiction to pornography". fucking machines / sex stories / sex information / adult wholesale
"Use of pornography is a serious sin against chastity and the dignity of the human person," Bishop Finn wrote. "It robs us of sanctifying grace, separates us from the vision of God and from the goodness of others, and leaves us spiritually empty," he added.
Bishop Finn said that access to pornography has become easier with every advance in communications technology but does not condemn communications technology, only the misuse of it to degrade the human person.
We'll keep watching porn then. Those horny little minxes don't look very degraded to us.
